The SpaceNeedle's Boston Celtics Fan Profile
Extended profile
Who am I?
Yo! What's good everyone? I'm currently living in Seattle, WA, but have been a New England sports fan since day one. Celtics, Red Sox, Patriots, and Bruins have been my teams since I can remember. My Dad is from Rhode Island and has raised me this way while I was growing up in Japan. With no local teams to cheer for, I instantly joined the Nation. I moved to Seattle when I was 14, but stayed true to my Boston teams. Lucky for me, I would be a depressed soul if I would have jumped on the Seattle bandwagon. No Sonics, Seahawks are terrible, and the Mariners are worse. Anyway, I'm huge sports fan and gotta lot to say. Looking forward to chattin' it up with you.

Red Sox Advance!! Thanks to Washington native LESTER! posted on 10/06/2008
Was there any doubt? Ok, maybe for a second there. A Red Sox team without Manny and especially Mike Lowell in the line up is one that is still hard to get used to. But, Mr. Lester makes you forget about that really quick. It's especially nice to see him dominate being that he is representing Washington. Don't sleep on the Northwest these days! We have athletes representing in all different sports. Anyway, this Red Sox team has the perfect mix of veterans and young athletic players. You just got to love the way they go out there and leave it all on the line. Too bad for that Angels team...I guess playing in the AL WEST doesn't really get a team ready for the playoffs. Can we say, CHOKE! No, we really can't. The Red Sox are a great team that probably should have won more games than they did, but faced a ton of health issues this year. They were set up to be a factor in the postseason. Even with Lowell being out for the ALCS, we definitely have chance to go out there and show who really is King of the East. End this Rays' dream season once and for all.
