The Boston Red Sox; Lose 2 out of 3 from the Central 1st place Texas Rangers but the Sox are still in 1st In The East!!!


  Today Dice-K and the Sox came out looking a little off for the first time in June!! Like I stated in a previous blog, if the Sox pitching is healthy they can take it all, and they had been proving that every game but today, Beckett and Lester almost threw no hitters this week, Wakefield and Penny(besides his last start) have been looking great and Dice got his 1st win since coming off the DL last week, but he didn't look that great today, a little off-- Hey you can't win them all!!!

  Rematch with The Texas Rangers on Sunday at 1:35 at Fenway with Dice-K(1-3) vs Padilla(3-3) should be a good matchup with Dice getting his 1st win last start and Texas fighting to stay in 1st in the Central and the Sox fighting to stay in 1st in the East, Lets go Sox!!!

ll lead his team to the playoffs as either the NL East victor or via the wildcard, Hamilton and his Texas Rangers will be on the outside looking in unless the Rangers’ staff turns out to be a lot better than the entire world predicts. Hamilton’s numbers will be just too spectacular to ignore. Other potential AL winners: Mark Teixeira, Justin Morneau, Alex Rodriguez, Grady Sizemore and Jason Bay. Other potential NL winners: Manny Ramirez, Albert Pujols, Hanley Ramirez, Ryan Braun and Chase Utley.

The Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim won the American League West by 21 games in 2008, a margin 13 1/2 games wider than the next largest difference which was the Chicago Cubs’ 7 1/2 game lead over National League Wild Card winner Milwaukee. With the departures of some key Angels and the acquisitions of some big name players by the other teams in the West, the race will tighter, but don’t expect Texas, Oakland or Seattle to leapfrog Los Angeles who should capture their fifth division title in six years.
