a 2 point game at the half and then Allen scored 12 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists and Rondo stepped it up with 21 points, 14 rebounds, 3 assists and a steal. Now, as the Professor says, when

Pierce and Rondo look extremely tired -- not good for the Celtics. This bad news and bad start would continue as the Magic would have a 20 point lead in the 3rd quarter and this time they keep it, ending up with an ugly final score of 117-96!  As the Professor always says, if

Here's what C-Nation wants to see: we want Rondo driving to the hoop like he was all series (except for last game). We want Pierce being the captain that he is and taking control like he does in crucial moments. We want Ray Ray hitting his jumper (huge!) and Perkins and Big Baby Davis just doing what they do. And of course, we want to see KG back on the court working his magic.

alry, which I believe will happen for the playoffs for the next couple of years.  Our man Rondo got off the last shot in OT, but it was a jump shot, not what the Doc wanted, so double overtime it is.  Knowing Perkin's was out I was now scared this was slipping through our fingers and Straight from the jump, Bulls have possession, and throughout double OT they got the lead and kept it.  The Celtics continued to battle back but couldn't make up the difference.  They had a chance with Pierce's wing and a prayer three point attempt, but Solomon's' block shut it down.  So it is over and the final score in the game 121 - 118. So now it's time to move past this, and get ready for Tuesday.   This is the perfect time to go up 3 -2 and keep the Bulls on their toes.  (Keep in mind the longer we string this out, the longer KG will have to heal).

Kevin Garnett. Pierce, Ray Ray, and Rondo were solid as usual with Pierce scoring 21 with 6 rebounds and 5 assists, and Rondo scoring 20 with 6 assists and 2 steals, nice!! Meanwhile Perkins dominated the glass with 10 rebounds and 7 blocks as well as Big Baby doing his thing again with 19 points, a steal, and a crazy block, amazing! (The kid gets better with every start.) Then the Celts' bench did what they needed to do, and it was great to see Tony Allen back out there.

Rajon Rondo is in the carpool lane on the highway to superstardom.  As third year point guard, Rondo doesn't have the instinct or raw talent of CP3, or the strength of DWilliams.  But what he has that the other two don't have... mentors.  KG, Pierce, the late James Posey and Sam Cassels.  Those guys have all made an impression on the ever improving

Where would he find it?  Well, Lep, let me introduce you to Rajon Rondo.

Rajon Rondo (22 years-old) is a second year player out of the University of Kentucky. I saw enough of this young Wild Cat last year to determine that he may become a good back up point guard at best. After watching 51 games this year, my last year's assessment couldn't be more wrongdo.  Rajon has really impressed me this year. Although just a kid, he has developed faster than a picture in one of those $1 photo booths in the mall. But on a more serious note, Rajon's game is just a consistent jump shot away from making him one of the better point guards in the NBA.  Unfortunately, a consistent jump shot isn't going to just pop out of a slot for $1. It will take a lot of practice, and he'll have to take more shots than Ole Lep at a Celtics Championship Party, if he wants to be the next Shooter Mcgavin.
