Danny Ainge, amazing!! Last night's game was also amazing with Leon Powe receiving the 6th Man of the Year Award (very deserving in my opinion, as he averages 7.5 pnts 4.8 reb .5 ass .5 blks and then scored 18 points with 13 rebounds in last night's game.

to control the boards on defense. Also, controlling the boards will really limit the play of Leon Powe and Big Baby Davis, who get most of their points and high percentage looks off of second shot attempts. If the Blazers can use their incredible size and depth to limit those two, then I fear that the Celtics' second unit may be in for a long, long night.

early and often, the Celtics looked lost on offense with the second unit on the floor. While Leon Powe, Eddie House et al can get it done sometimes, the Celtics have a painful lack of consistency off of the bench and often don’t know where the ball needs to go to get a good shot while the second unit is on the floor. I almost feel like it would be better if Doc just told Eddie House to jack up a three pointer and had everybody else just go for the offensive rebound, it would be more natural for House and might actually get the Celtics better shots off of the second chance opportunities (wait, this isn’t what they’re doing now???).

The Celtics have great role players in Rajon Rondo, Kendrick Perkins and Leon Powe, to name a few. Rondo is becoming a superstar in his own way and his skills are still being harnessed as he goes thru his 3rd year in the league. This kid's gonna be big in the future and he will provide added firepower for the Cs. Kendrick Perkins is a workhorse. His passion to rebound the ball and bang bodies with any center from any team is a quality that surely embodies Boston's intensity.

Think about a bench featuring those four, Leon Powe, Patrick O'Bryant (who looks like another Danny Ainge diamond-in-the-rough find, by the way), Big Baby Davis, Tony Allen and House, and try to find a more diverse group of reserves in the league.

he Celtics this year, I am waiting in eager anticipation to see how the likes of Big Baby Davis and Leon Powe will step up to fill the voids left by some of last year’s departing veterans.

ions and efforts of the other Celtics like Rajon Rondo, Eddie House, James Posey, Kendrick Perkins, Leon Powe, Tony Allen, Glen Davis, PJ Brown and the alien from the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull… er, I mean Sam Cassell (don’t forget Scal and Scott Pollard!). Each and every one of those guys, especially Scalabrine, made contributions to the team and were vital parts of this championship run. The Celtics are all about teamwork, sacrifice and selflessness, and it won them a title. Highlighting just the three all stars as the contributors goes against every key characteristic of the Celtics’ identity.

nd House and gave them the most minutes instead of messing around with the likes of Rajon Rondo and Leon Powe (which is like messing with Tryon skanks).
Just win.

m to a mere 77 points. Garnett led the way for the Celtics with 20 points and 11 rebounds and Leon Powe sparkled off of the bench, contributing 14 points and 9 rebounds on an energetic 5 of 8 shooting performance.
