Derrick Rose

Big Baby and Pierce will of course bounce back in Game 5, and if the Celtics can control Derrick Rose as they did in Game 3, they should be fine. The key for the Celtics is bench production. It has become pretty clear that the Celtics are just not deep enough to compete for a title, with or without Kevin Garnett, but they should be able to get past the Bulls if House and Marbury can give them anything at all off the bench. Mikki Moore also has to be able to play quality minutes without racking up fouls.

sp;not this dope...he just kept chucking them up.  Rookie of the Year candidate Derrick Rose had 18 points but only 1 assist, I thought he was a point guard?  The Celtics had 5 guys in double figures scoring led by Kevin Garnett with 18.  KG added 10 boards to go with the 18 points in only 26 minutes.  The Big 3 will have a lot of games played with only 25 minutes if they continue to blow teams out.  The Bulls made the score look closer than it was in the last 4 minutes of the 4th quarter cause Doc put Patrick O'Bryant in.  O'Bryant played 4 minutes and the team was -12 when he was on the floor.  How the hell does that happen?  The crowd chanted for Scalabrine at the end of the game to make a shot.  He played 6 minutes and the team was -13 when he was in the game.  He didn't have a point, rebound, assist, anything!  Can we just cut him?

stin as a player and the ways that he can contribute to the Blazers in the future.  Aside from Derrick Rose, DJ Augustin is the best point guard in this draft.  Though he is tiny (under 6' and skinny), Augustin is a pure point guard with natural instincts that make him a great playmaker and passer.  The young longhorn has drawn comparisons (favorable and not) to Steve Nash because of his high basketball IQ, selfless nature and silky smooth jump shot that already has NBA range.  Augustin has also proven himself to be a winner and a clutch performer who is unafraid of the spotlight and taking big shots during games.

and has shown tremendous ability as a floor leader in big games.  Though he struggled against Derrick Rose and Memphis in the NCAA tournament this year, he did manage to keep his team in the game for quite some time before Memphis pulled away.  In addition to his physical skills and talent, Augustin is a great character/chemistry guy, a trait that the Blazers value greatly over most other characteristics.

It was a great game, and despite the loss I still think that Derrick Rose is the best player in college right now and should be the no. 1 overall pick in the upcoming NBA draft.  He's incredibly athletic, has a great sense of the game, a high basketball IQ and most importantly is, by all accounts, an excellent leader and teammate.  Michael "Beastly" is incredible as well, I just think Rose's ability to make his teammates better and his upside are tremendous.  Also, Chris Douglas Roberts and Mario Chalmers were amazing, to put it mildly.
