Get the Brooms Out: Sox Sweep Toronto

The Red Sox finished their third game sweep of the Blue Jays last night moving us within a 1/2 game of first place. Lester came out and pitched great allowing 8 hits spread throughout 7 innings, only 1 earned run and 4 strike-outs!!! He looked really good in his last 2 starts and received his third win of the season with a 5-1 final!!!  Ramierez and Papelbon came in to finish them.  Ramierez allowed 2 hits and a walk, but got 2 strikeouts.  And Mr. Papelbon came out and does what he always does and shut them down to end this game.
On the offensive end, Jason  Bay "watch" hit another home run, a 2 run shot (11th home run in a row with a man on base to break a Red Sox record) his 13th of the year; he is on fire and really playing like an MVP!!! Pedroia, Ellsbury, Drew and Youkilis all had hits and have been a force to reckon with, and Big Papi was 1-3 but hitting the ball well, so looks like everything is turning the Sox way. We will find out if we are complete tonight with Dice-K versus the first place Mets and Santana. This will be a great game if Dice is healthy; could be trouble if not. But if he is all right, this will be a battle and if the Sox can take this one, I don't think anyone can beat us. So tune in tonight 7:05 at Fenway!
