Boston Celtics: Now that's Playing in our House!

The Celtics came out with that fire and determination in their eyes last night and showed Orlando exactly where they were(OUR HOUSE) and who the Champs are (The Cs, of course]!!!  The Cs got a quick lead from the beginning of the game and did not let it go; in fact, they did what I had hoped--if House, Scale, and Marbury could give us one good quarter of ball, we'd take it.

In actuality, they gave us more than that; they gave the Cs a good half or more. HOUSE was the man, getting smacked in the head by Alston (who should be suspended) after he made a 3-point shot. I think that move by Alston actually got House going, leading him to go off for 31 points (game high), 14 rebounds, and 2 assists. Sick! Just what the Cs needed!!!!

Scalabrine had 8 points, 3 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 nice blocks and that's really where he is getting the job done, on the Defensive end!!!  He held down Orlando's shooters leaving them out of this game. That was the job C-Nation was looking for from our bench and last night we got it.  The starters handled the rest especially Ray Ray who stepped up from the beginning scoring 22 points, 6 rebounds, and 4 assists...perfect!!! And, as the Professor called it, if Rondo played well, the Cs win, and Rondo for the 4th time in the playoffs had a triple double, but last night he got it in the 1st half and ended with 15 points, 11 rebounds, 18 assists (amazing) and 2 steals; good call Professor.

Pierce didn't need to do much (3 points, 2 rebounds and 1 assist) even though he is a huge voice out there, which you know, and he motivates the team which we need.  Perkins (16 points, 9 rebounds and 3 assists) and Big Glen Davis Baby (13 points, 5 rebounds and 1 assist) also played great, especially on the defensive end holding Howard down again only scoring 12 points, 12 rebound (Rondo had 18!!) and holding their whole team down.  Orlando will not beat the Cs with those kind of numbers from their "Superman" or from their offense period...So last night was our night, and we put the hammer down with a final 112-94 and it wasn't even that close... So as MIT says, "They keep playing like this, it's over in 5." I personally loved the way they played, and this game should have given the Celtics the advantage and momentum and it gave some more rest for our starting Five, which should come in handy for next game.  So keep it up Celts, you got a whole Nation behind you!!!
