Boston Celtics: It's All Come Down to This

People are calling this the best playoff series ever, but it all comes to an end tonight. This has been a back and forth epic battle with a different "main man" stepping up for both teams in each game (including the 4 overtimes in 6 games, an NBA record). 

There have been rumors floating around that Kevin Garnett may be able to dress and play in this game.  I am not sure that's going to happen, but if KG were to return, even if he played for 2 minutes, Boston might just explode!!!  Danny Ainge did make a comment saying this was not true, but you never know.  I wouldn't count on any returns saving us either way.  The Celts just need to play the Defense like they know how and, hopefully, our Offense will come in with energy and that domination that we saw in game 3.

Here's what C-Nation wants to see: we want Rondo driving to the hoop like he was all series (except for last game). We want Pierce being the captain that he is and taking control like he does in crucial moments. We want Ray Ray hitting his jumper (huge!) and Perkins and Big Baby Davis just doing what they do. And of course, we want to see KG back on the court working his magic.

Back to reality, the biggest question is can we get some action from our bench?? Scalabrine has been doing pretty well after his comeback from a bad concussion, playing 20 minutes last game (which isn't much in a 3 OT game, but most on our bench) and had 7 points, 2 rebounds, and a block.  But meanwhile, the Cs have House, Marbury, Moore and Allen who we know can help us not playing big roles at all and they know how to ball so hopefully, they all can become a factor and C-Nation will see it all come together tonight. (The Cs are 31-0 in game 7 after being up 3-2)!!!!!!!  So here we go again,you know its going to be crazy (again) so put on your seat belts and get some Lucky Charms and some Leprechauns and make sure your green is on!!!!!  It's now or never. LET'S GO, CELTICS!!!!!!!! I BELIEVE.  Game time: Garden tonight 8:05.
