The Boston Celtics: Patriot's Day Win

Ray Ray had ice in his veins last night and hit game winner putting the Cs right back in it!! This was a game the Celts needed to have not only to tie the series, but to get the momentum and our confidence back. Ray Allen scored only two points in the first half, and I thought it was going to be a replay of the last game, but he came out on fire in the second half. It was just what the Doc ordered especially with Ben Gordon scoring 42 points, but that wasn't enough. Ray scored 28 points in the second half but none bigger than the last shot of the game, with the game tied at 115 each the Cs had the ball with 12 seconds left and a chance for the last shot of the game. So Doc drew up a play for Ray Ray, and Rondo got him the ball with 2 seconds and Ray buried a 3 for the game winner and the Cs tied the series with this win 118-115!!

Big Baby had a great day, scoring his career high of 26 points, and Baby and Perk controlled the boards really well in this game, which led to the Cs gaining momentum!! Rondo was the quiet leader scoring 19, 12 rebounds and 16 assists (triple double) on the team last night running the floor great and turning up the pressure on the Defensive end and keeping Rose out of this one. Pierce did his thing as usuall holding the whole team together, scoring 18, but was not the main factor -- but he didn't need to be cause the Cs got the win and that's what mattered. So a tied series is good to see, but it wasn't good to see Powe get hurt, but hopefully it's not too bad, and he'll be back sooner than later, and the Cs could use some help from their bench which seemed not to be a factor last night. The Cs need everyone to step up as we are headed to Chicago for game 3 Thursday night, 7:00 pm. Can't wait. Let's go Green!
