So, we all know that Boston won the big championship. One that included a long strenuous run through the playoffs with a big performance ending in Glory. Next question we should be asking ourselves is: Where are the Celtics going from here? If you have looked at anything regarding the Celtics lately you'll see that they are starting their exhibition season against the Sixers. So back to last year; You remember watching Kevin Garnett with his 20.4 ppg average with Paul Peirce and Ray Allen following in the mix of 3 which became famous after their terrific season of 66-16. What will it be this year? Check out tomorrow's blog by ME. Kevin Empson, and you'll have a bit of a taste with my look back on the Celtics first Exhibition game of the Preseason. Our love, Boston going against the Sixers. Now, I am going to leave you with a little inspiration.

Tony Allen's game-high 25 points sparked the Celtic's big second half in their win over Lebron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers. At half-time the Celtics were at a 5 point deficit but with a big push in the second half pulled out a victory of 96-94. The Celtics coming off a loss to the 76ers tied up their preseason (1-1) while the Cavaliers fell to (0-1) after losing their debut to Toronto on Tuesday. Lebron James, who failed to make a basket in his 8 minutes of play said this "We got into a good rhythm, and we played well." Boston's Big Three played no more than 9 1/2 minutes tonight, though they combined for 17 points (all in the 1st Quarter).

Boston's Big Three, who earned some rest after the victory in New Jersey, played extended minutes against New York in another preseason match-up. So I got a comment saying that I don't voice my opinion and well, he's right, I didn't even realize it. So my opinion is this: The Boston Celtics won the last championship in 1986 and brought it back to the big house last season, but haven't repeated a win in over 40 years if I am correct, the big deal is that I believe not only can they do it again, but as long as the big 3, along with Eddie House, and Tony Allen are healthy, they could end up with more than 66 wins (Their record last year being 66-16) and they could do it easily. That doesn't mean they will dominate teams like they did last year, games will be tough don't get me wrong, but I think that with those 5 healthy, along with Rajon Rondo, the team will be a force to be reckoned with. I am only 17 years old, and I have been a fan of the Celtics since I was like 8, and I have NEVER seen a line up as strong as last years and this years. One thing is sure. This will be a very interesting season. The Lakers, Heat, and Pheonix Suns will be strong no doubt, but teams like Dallas, New York (both teams) and Cleveland will all be tough tough teams. I can't WAIT for the 08-09 season!! GO CELTICS!!!!
