Celtics with close with over Cavaliers 90-86 in preseason match-up

Leon Powe (Celtics) scored 17 points in the win over the Cavaliers, his last shot on the go ahead basket with just over 2 minutes left in the Fourth Quarter leading Boston to the 90-86 win over the Cavaliers in Pittsburgh at the University of Pittsburgh's Petersen Event Center. Powe's final points put Boston ahead for good at 85-84 after trailing 81-74 during an 8-0 point run by Cleveland at the start of the Fourth Quarter. The big 3 led by Ray Allen's 15 points added 40 to the scoreboard then left in the middle of the 3rd quarter for the rest of the game. Daniel Gibson led the Cav's with 14 points while Lebron James added 12 points, with some assists and rebounds as well. Boston who played the Cav's and won in seven games in the Eastern Conference semi-finals last season have won their first 2 meetings which have been close. Boston (3-1) won their last game against the Houston Rockets with a one point win as the score was 90-89. Seeing as without the big 3 getting big minutes and the Celtics still successful, this will be a VERY interesting season coming up.
